All Nippon Airways' (ANA) new Pokemon Jet is covered with ten Pikachus. The plane, which will be flying domestically within Japan, will have a theme running throughout the entire flight. The aprons that cabin attendants wear are decorated with Pokemon, and ANA is providing boarding music to bring the world alive. The theme is also extended to the planes' paper cups and napkins. ANA also gives passengers a Pikachu Kit Kat bar on board.
Although this is not the airline's first plane to be decorated with the characters in the past, the cute electric mouse makes it the most noteworthy. Other airlines have used the characters before, but the flights were international.
Crocs has released two versions Crocs' famous clogs. The first design includes a simple Pikachu silhouette, while a second version is more colorful and features all of the Pokemon starters from the first generations (Bulbasaur Charmander Squirtle). Crocs now sells the aprons.
Singapore residents will be unable to fly in the Pikachu Jet. However, they have plenty of other options that allow them to travel in comfort. Scoot Singapore, a low-cost airline in Singapore, has partnered with The Pokemon Company and will offer flights to Japan on Pikachu-themed aircraft. The planes will fly from Singapore to Tokyo. The Pokemon voice actor will make announcements in flight. These flights will include a themed food menu, a theme bar, and many other fun details. Scoot Pikachu Jet is set to make its first flight in August.
