Pikachu Mugs
Pikachu Mugs can't be ignored by Pokemon enthusiasts. This yellow electric-type of Pokemon is a popular mascot in the video game series and a key character in the anime. The mouse-like Pokemon attacks by emitting electric currents from its cheeks. pikachu plush charges while it sleeps. It loves apples and berries, as well as ketchup.

Game Freak and Nintendo's 1996 Japanese videogames Pokemon Red and Green introduced the character. Pikachu appeared as the first electric Pokemon. With its distinctive yellow color, and adorable grin, it was instantly recognisable. The character was featured in several spinoff media, and remained a mainstay throughout the series.

Ash Ketchum, the main protagonist and partner of the series in the videogames. His electric powers cause him to speak in a very high-pitched tone. He can also not go outside without losing his power. Aside from being the most recognized and popular character in the Pokemon universe, he also happens to be the most recognizable and famous.

Pikachu is also featured in other media, including video games and television programs, as well apparel and merchandise. The character, which is an icon of the Nintendo franchise and a symbol for its culture, has been used to identify Nintendo products. The character has appeared on the official logos of both the video games and TV series franchises. It is also featured in many video game titles, merchandise and theme parks.

Pikachu caps come in many different variations. These include the Original Cap as well as Witch's Hats, Summer Styles and Detective Hats. These variants can only be obtained through completing certain events in the Sinnoh or Special Exhibition in Yokohama. The special Pikachu version called Pikachutwo in the anime was cloned by Ash from his Pikachu during Mewtwo Strikes Back. This variant has fur similar to that of Pichu.

This Pikachu Drinkware Gift Set was sold for a very limited time at the Pokemon Centers Japan during the Pair Pokemon promotion in January 2012. The mugs have been discontinued due to their small production. Each mug includes a boy Pikachu along with a female Pikachu. The mugs come in a collectible keepake box.

Pikachu is available in several variations, including Captain Pikachu (with different outfits), Shopping Pikachu (with different outfits), and Snow Pikachu. Explorer Pikachu - a new variant - was released as a way to commemorate the release of Secrets of the Jungle, and the Winter Holidays event in 2022. This card does not evolve into Raichu. There is no equivalent of this card in the Expanded version. The standard base set also contains a number Pikachu regular cards. These cards may be used with the Standard or Expanded format.
