How to Change Minecraft Skin on your Mobile Or PC

Minecraft is a worldwide phenomenon with more than 200 million copies sold. There are numerous single-player games but it's much more enjoyable to play with friends on a realm or server that you have created.

There are a lot of skins to pick from on the internet. Here's how you can create your Minecraft skin mobile or on your computer if you find one that you like.

Where Can You Find Minecraft Skins?

If you are looking for a unique Minecraft skin, you need to know where to look. There are several popular sites that offer hundreds or even dozens of Minecraft skins for free.

The Skindex Aside from the odd name, The Skindex has hundreds of skins available and a powerful search engine. You can also upload your own skins and edit existing skins to suit your preferences.

MinecraftSkins.net: MinecraftSkins.net offers a variety of skins. They are classified by type, so you can choose between movies, TV People, Games, Mobs, and more.

PlanetMinecraft: PlanetMinecraft is a treasure trove of resources for Minecraft. It's not limited to skins, but also textures and maps.

You can find nearly any skin you can dream of on these sites, but you can also create your own skin using a basic design. You can customize your character however you wish.

How to Change a Minecraft Skin on a PC

There are a few different ways to alter your skin's appearance in Minecraft.

How to Change Skin Through Minecraft.net

If you discover a skin, changing it is a simple task. First, visit Minecraft.net and log in to your account. Click Skins on the left side of the screen. You will be presented with two choices for your skin: a bigger variant and a smaller version. You can choose the one that suits you best.

Scroll down and click Select File. Select the skin file you chose and then click upload. After you have done this the skin will show up as the new skin the next time you start up the game.

How to change skins using Minecraft Launcher

Another method to change skins is through the Minecraft launcher. Launch the game and then click skins in the navigation bar. This screen lists all skins that you have added to the game, as well as the current skin you have installed.

If your current skin is not in the library, click Add to Library to make add it to the list of skins that are available to you. Click New Skin to add the skin to your downloads folder. Give the skin a name and select whether it fits the Classic or Slim player models.

After this, click Browse and navigate to the folder in which the skin is. Click on the skin, click OK,, and then click Save to save it to your library. Or click Save and use it to equip your character.

Place your cursor on any skin in your library and click Use to add it to your character. It will not alter your gameplay as it's only cosmetic.

How to Modify Minecraft Skins on Mobile

Although it's a bit more difficult to change skins on Minecraft mobile than on a PC but it's very easy. https://minecraft-servers.space/ First, open Minecraft and tap

Profil

. Select a character icon, then tap

Modify Character

and then select the second icon from the left-the one that resembles three characters standing together.

Tap Owned, then tap the icon under Import. Then tap Choose New Skin. This opens your photo library on your phone. Choose the skin you've downloaded from the library. If you haven't found the skin, visit the internet and search for one then save it to your pictures.

Make sure that the image you save is the one that appears somewhat distorted, like this:

You must select the correct image or else the game will not recognize it as a skin. After you have selected the image the game will ask you to accept its appearance. After you've voted, the skin will be added into your game.

Then, you can select the skin and play the game.

Your Minecraft skin is a great way to express your personality while playing. It doesn't matter if you're playing on a creative server with your friends or just want to fight it out in the battle mode, don't stick with the plain Steve or Alex skin. Select one that is suitable for you no matter if it's Bigfoot or your favorite anime character.
