For some, the destruction comes in the form of destruction of an album or video. One user shared a video on Twitter of them throwing their Cry Baby CD and watching it break into pieces. Another former fan tweeted an image of them burning an image of the singer onto a T-shirt.
Some are becoming more imaginative with their revenge. One Instagram user wrote "It's time to burn the merchandise I purchased prior to Heller." Another user tweeted a photo of a shirt was ironed on, and the message, "Cry Baby is f---ed up."
Others are replacing old signs that show their fandom. One Twitter user swapped an image of the shirt that they bought by substituting an image from Halsey and captioned it, "Women rape, too."
Tiktok, her streaming service has lost its followers too. A lot of people are not following her on Tiktok and making negative comments in response to the sexual assault allegations against her ex-friend. Others have also started with a hashtag that says they are "over" the performer and are posting pictures of their damaged merchandise.
