The Mulliner division will celebrate Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with a Mulsanne special edition. It is a tribute to the company's founding father, W.O. Bentley, and even contains a portion of one of his cars.


The model is ordered as a regular Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by a 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. W.O. is emblazoned in the shape of a B-shaped air vent on the chrome application that runs along the back of the vehicle. his signature, a front grille patterned after the 1930s-appropriate Onyx color of the limited edition, and an optional chrome application that wraps around the lower spoilers, left and right. The front grille is unique, featuring an aluminum shell instead of the usual body-colored mesh as in the regular Mulsanne and including the Flying B logo as well.

The key box is decorated with Bentley wings and comes with a black flock lining. Key pouches are available to be purchased to complement or contrast the key box. The set is also commemorative, and includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and an air-borne 'B' paperweight along with a printed brochure featuring images that have never before been seen of the original 1930s 8 Litre.

The Bentley Wing Key Box

A unique keybox decorated with Bentley wings and designed to accommodate 2 Bentley keys, this key holder is ideal for Bentley owners and fans. The item comes in a gift box with tissue paper. It makes a great present for Christmas, birthdays, or other special occasions.

The knurling of the metal-to-metal key fob is reminiscent of the textures that are found in the interior, including the controls for temperature in the seat as well as the shift knob. Van Braekel says, "We wanted to make the knurling as uniform and beautiful" as possible. "It was also important to keep the fob in a shape and size that was easily identifiable."

Bentley Mulliner customers can specify any color from the Bentley portfolio for their Bacalar, as well as any combination of hides, veneers and bespoke embroidery. Bentley's signature diamond in diamond quilting is applied to the entire cabin and features around 400k stitches. The mood lighting can also be adjusted for different moods.

Standard exteriors include illuminated treadplates, brushed silver clocks, and new 22in wheels sporting self-leveling Bentley logos. Customers can also choose a custom Bentley logo laser-etched on the rear fixing in homage to the 1930 8 Litre W.O. Edition that inspired the car.
