Modern Evidence-Based Treatment Therapy + Native American Guiding principles and traditions

Our program is tailored specifically to Native American individuals experiencing addiction and mental health struggles. We incorporate a variety of modern evidence-based therapies alongside guiding principles and traditions from Native American culture. Our approach blends scientifically proven methods for treating addiction with the wisdom and teachings found in books such as The Red Road to Wellbeing: In the Native American Way and 365 Days of Walking the Red Road: The Native American Path to Leading a Spiritual Life Every Day.

Our clients find value in participating in the weekly Talking Circle and Sweat Lodge ceremonies. Additionally, they attend a specialized clinic three times a week that focuses on teaching Native American practices for addiction treatment. At the clinic, clients have access to an onsite medical doctor, nurse, and mental health therapist.

Our program has shown promising results in treating addiction and mental health issues in the Native American population. We have conducted several studies that demonstrate the effectiveness of combining modern evidence-based therapies with Native American guiding principles and traditions.

In a recent study, we found that participants who completed our program had a significantly higher rate of abstinence from drugs and alcohol compared to those who received traditional Western treatments alone. This indicates that our program is not only culturally appropriate but also highly effective in addressing addiction and promoting recovery.

Additionally, we have received positive feedback from our clients, who have reported improved overall well-being and a greater sense of connection to their culture and community. Many of our clients have expressed a deep appreciation for the incorporation of Native American practices in their treatment, which has helped them to feel more grounded and connected to their heritage.

Overall, our program provides a unique and effective approach to treating addiction and mental health issues in the Native American population. By combining modern evidence-based therapies with traditional Native American guiding principles and practices, we offer a culturally sensitive and holistic approach to healing and recovery.
