5 Best Games like Minecraft on Android

We would like to pay tribute to The Blockheads (APKMirror). It was a popular Minecraft alternative for a number of years, but Noodlecake was forced to shut down the game down because of disagreements with Google Play. It's still a great game, but you have to install the APK yourself. If you require assistance, we've got an instruction.

LostMiner

Price:

Free / $1.99

LostMiner is very similar to Terraria. It is a 2D-style game that still allows for mining, building, and crafting. You can also find animals, bad guys, and other items while you play. While the graphics aren't going to be a hit, they do fit the theme of the game very well. Most of the complaints are about bugs, however, this is an indie game, so it is to be expected a little more. The game is quite affordable and surprisingly fun to play.

Pixel Worlds

Price:

Free to play

Pixel Worlds is an enjoyable mix of MMO and Minecraft (or, more specifically, Terraria). The world is 2D and includes a variety of mining and crafting mechanics. There are also dungeons and other things to discover. What is unique about it is the inclusion of other players into the game. You can join servers already in progress or create your own for other players to join. It's a unique experience , and it's also cross platform with PC and Mac.

Roblox

Price:

Free to play

Roblox is often compared to Minecraft, even if Roblox is a lot bigger with a lot more stuff to do. Roblox is a platform on which players can play a vast number of game types made by members of the community. You can create and craft. They may also include puzzles, shooting and other things. Roblox and Minecraft are two sides of the same coin in terms freedom. The freedom to play how they like and not being restricted by a set path is what Roblox and Minecraft share. Although this sandbox game with high-level isn't as popular as Minecraft however, it does feel a lot like Minecraft in certain respects.

Survivalcraft 1 and 2

Price:

$3.99

Survivalcraft is among the most similar Minecraft-style games you'll discover. It will leave you on the shores of a block world. The goal is to build stuff and craft things, create weapons and defend yourself, grow plants, and all of the stuff. This one goes one step further by allowing you to construct functional machines that can actually do things. Split screen mode allows players to play with up to three players if you own the right device for it. Survivalcraft 2 has not seen an update since 2017 which is why we are somewhat concerned that it's been abandoned. However, it still works fine for now.

Terraria

Price:

$4.99

Terraria is Minecraft's closest competitor. It shares many of the same elements such as crafting, mining and survival, as well as killing bosses. However, it takes place in an actual 2D space instead of an immersive 3D environment like Minecraft. The game includes multiplayer with up seven other players, more than 20 biomes to explore, a variety of NPCs to seek out and more. This game wasn't available for at least a year, as it wasn't updated for a long time. However, it appears the developers are back on the ball right now. If you have Google Play Pass, this one is also no cost.
