Pikmin plush toys are a plush toy that is based on a video game series that shares the same name. The first game in the series was released in 2001 and is one of the most well-known Nintendo franchises ever.
A range of licensed Pikmin plush toys have been produced, however the best quality ones are made by San-ei, a Japanese company that manufactures high-quality plush that are perfect for both gifting and collecting. pikmin plush released a set of Pikmin plushies in 2002 which could be put on the surface of a magnet. The set contained a red Pikmin bud, a yellow Pikmin leaf and an blue Pikmin flower.
The Pikmin were released in three distinct stages of maturity (leaf buds, leaf, and flower) to make it easier for kids to choose their favourites. They also included the Bulborb that is the only Pikmin which can live in the ocean.
Taito dirt block plushes
The plushies, measuring at 12.7cm tall, came out in Japan only in three sets on the 21st June 2002. They are made of an emulsion of taffeta and can be pulled into and partially pulled from their blocks of dirt.
They're very similar to the pouch plushes launched at the same time by Sanei however, they do not have a zipper in the back. They are also slightly smaller at 130cm tall.
Banpresto Pikmin prize packs
Banpresto is one of the Japanese firm, unveiled a set of 10 Pikmin plushes in May 2002 as trophies. The collection consists of buds, leaf, and flower variants of the Red, Yellow, and Blue Pikmin, as well as Bulborb. Bulborb.
The Pikmins weren't sold in stores, but rather offered as freebies in Japanese amusement parks.
They are resistant to attacks that are based upon water. They can also be thrown more high than the other Pikmin varieties.
