There are many hobbies surrounding us every day. There are craft hobbies, extreme hobbies, fun hobbies, world hobbies, great hobbies, action hobbies. Hobbies are the familiar, the unusual or weird, unique and popular. It is just like a hobby lobby in the middle of the world.

Like and love are two words which means that different things. For me personally, when I love something I accept or invest in all that is included with it. Good or bad I can live with it. Alternatively when I love something, I have found that once the love is gone so may be the project.

Probably the most difficult list to construct will be... who am I? Extra resources is difficult because many times we do not know who we are for a number of reasons. Perhaps you are preoccupied with others and find out a lost of identity. Perhaps you have never taken an interest in yourself to find out who you are.

Let me tell a short story to help emphasize this point. I have a friend who makes miniature plants. I look at them and they are cute, but this kind of hobby does not interest me. However, because she is my friend, I let her tell me about how exactly she makes her mini plants.

Her face lights up with excitement as she demonstrates how she gives life to her plants. Her world is exciting. But her world also offers a reality because it makes other adults and children happy with her plants because they place these trees and foliage into doll houses, railroad train scenes, and other miniature creations.

You will discover that a hobby is something you love primarily for personal rewards. Therefore, what's your personality type? Not the person that you show to the general public, but the real person within.


For example, you may communicate to others that you enjoy the outdoors, however, when invited to join friends and family on a camping trip; you make other arrangements to be elsewhere.

You enjoy the company of your friends, however your interest has changed. Camping isn't your hobby, but being at home air brushing a design on your motorcycle is your preference. This is why to make a personality list in order to make finding a hobby an adventure for yourself.
