When his hat comes off it makes the horns of his head appear to point toward the inside. This is also evident for his sprite from the overworld, which can be seen during the Sweet Cap'n Cakes fight.


He has an extremely strong sense of smell, which is demonstrated by the fact the man eats cotton candy in Cyber City, and by his habit of sniffing out enemy scents. He also can detect the scents of other people, such as Lancer and Kris, even if they are not nearby.


The physiology of his body is bizarre, too: when he's knocked down during battle, he goes away completely. He is also able to drink or eat the scarf that is flexible and also an arm. (He utilizes it to slap opponents and use it for an armor.)


Some theories have been made about Ralsei’s design. Some have suggested that his physiology is like that of a rodent or a scorpion, with an extended neck and legs that extend to the outside and he also has an nose, mouth, and teeth.



A different possibility is that his body is similar to that of a tiny frog. This makes him more agile. This could explain why the frog is so adept at leaping and how he avoids traps of the Dark World.


While it's a nice idea, it's bit too obvious to be considered a canon. ralsei plush were proposed for several characters in the Deltarune Universe. Ralsei has been called a "cute innocent doppelganger to Asriel Dreemurr". The fans have been angry about this.
