Are CISSP Recognised in the UK?
CISSP certifications are among the most sought-after by information security professionals, requiring no college education to gain access and serves as an indicator of knowledge and experience in cyber security.

Are CISSP recognized in the UK? Answer depends on your qualification framework.

Qualifications Framework

The Qualifications Framework forms an integral element of cissp certification UK. It permits professionals to demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired through certification procedures, for example, CISSP.

The standardised framework is utilized by all industries such as companies, educational institutions organizations, agencies, and firms. It makes it easy to advance within a company and move further up the ladder.

Assessments of Level 7 are recognized by the European Qualifications Framework and may be used to earn university credits or certificates for jobs that require advanced degrees.

The Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) training in the UK, is also a standard in the industry that recognizes the expertise of IT and Security professionals around the globe. It shows your holistic approach to cybersecurity, showing that you know both the cyber threat environment and how to manage security issues.

National Academic Recognition Information Centre

The National Academic Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC) is the UK's designated national body responsible for providing advice and information on academic professional, vocational and academic certifications from around the world. UK NARIC evaluated CISSP certificates in accordance with its guidelines, using well-established methods to evaluate the validity of credentials.

Cissp Training UK provides Statements Of Comparability (SOC) for international qualifications that permit individuals to study or work within the UK. cissp training uk is given to educational institutions, employers or professional bodies, or Immigration, to give them an accurate view of your qualifications in relation to UK standards.

From 6 April 2016, all applicants for visas and ILRs must provide their non-British documents to UK NARIC in order to prove that they are in compliance with British Standards.

Ecctis Limited operates and manages the UK National Academic Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC) also referred to as UK NARIC. The UK ENIC will become the new name for this centre as of the 1st of March, 2021.

EQF

The European Qualifications Framework is a reference system that permits simple comparison of certificates and degrees from across Europe. It is comprised of 8 levels that describe what learners are aware of, comprehend, and can achieve.

In 2008 the EU approved the European Qualifications Framework, or EQF to unify their qualifications systems. This allowed individuals to work and travel easily across countries. This helps build a sense of community among both learners and employers and improves transparency, comparability and transferability of qualifications.

The European Quality Framework is a collection of eight levels, which are in line with national frameworks for qualifications. It is a way of identifying learning outcomes related to knowledge and skills in addition to autonomy and responsibility.

RQF

In the year 2015, England, Wales and Northern Ireland implemented the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), replacing the Qualified Competencies Framework. This allows qualifications to be categorised by size and level to make it easier to understand how they are related to one another.

Qualifications can be assessed using Total Qualification Time. This is a rough estimate of how long it takes to study for and undergoing assessments to obtain a qualification.

UK NARIC conducted the benchmarking study that evaluated CISSP Certification with RQF Standards and other suitable standards of reference.

The CISSP certificate was determined as equivalent to RQF level 7 and recognized in the UK. This is advantageous holders who are able to utilize their certificate to establish their self with the government, employers, and educational institutions while validating them as well.
