EQF


The European Qualifications Framework is a reference system that permits simple comparison of certificates and degrees from across Europe. It is comprised of 8 levels that describe what learners are aware of, comprehend, and can achieve.


In 2008 the EU approved the European Qualifications Framework, or EQF to unify their qualifications systems. This allowed individuals to work and travel easily across countries. RQF

Qualifications can be assessed using Total Qualification Time. This is a rough estimate of how long it takes to study for and undergoing assessments to obtain a qualification.


UK NARIC conducted the benchmarking study that evaluated CISSP Certification with RQF Standards and other suitable standards of reference.


The CISSP certificate was determined as equivalent to RQF level 7 and recognized in the UK. This is advantageous holders who are able to utilize their certificate to establish their self with the government, employers, and educational institutions while validating them as well.
