Every generation has their own unique band, one that makes an impression and is connected to the public. For nu metal and alternative rock fans in the 2000s, Linkin Park was that group. They contributed to the development of a new sound, they were a key part of the youth movement and also produced music that resonated with millions of people. They made unmatched sounds including rap metal and crossover to songs such as Numb, which are now legendary.
Linkin Park was founded by Californians Mike Shinoda and Mark Wakefield. Brad Delson, Chester Bennington and Brad Delson came together at the same time as nu metal started to take form. linkinparkmerch gained popularity with albums that were a departure from the usual hip-hop and heavy metal beats. They blended explosive rap and atmospheric electronic music. polished pop, and hardcore hip-hop.
Through the years they've continued to evolve and develop their music, gaining more and more avid fans with every release. In 2017, lead singer Chester Bennington committed suicide. Their legacy endures, however, and their songs of despair and hope connect with a new audience even today.
