dalam mitologi Jepang adalah warga di underworld (Yomi)
Di dalam mitologi, Izanagi, yang rindu bersama istrinya yang sudah tiada mencoba untuk membawanya keluar dari Yomi. Saat Izanagi melihat Izanami yg sudah membusuk dan menjadi jelek, Ia melarikan diri. Lalu Izanami memerintahkan para Yomotsu-shikome (perempuan tua di Yomi) untuk mengerjarnya.
Izanagi memperlambat mereka dengan cara melemparkan hiasan kepalanya dan sisir sucinya, yang masing" berubah menjadi buah anggur dan rebung.
Hal ini menyebabkan para Yomotsu-Shikome untuk berhenti dan memakan makanan itu, dan membuat Izanagi berhasil keluar dari Yomi.
