FIFA 15 survived a three way battle to remain No. 1 in the UK. despite a drop of 70% in sales, it was No. 1. EA's soccer game was able surpass multi-platform action RPG Middle-earth, Shadow of Mordor and Xbox-only racer Forza Horizon 2, and porta-brawler Super Smash Bros 3DS. It placed third, second and fourth, respectively. ZOHO-MAIL While the three new games couldn't compete with the UK's love of FIFA (and let's admit it, not many could) However, they did enough to surpass Bungie shooter Destiny which fell from second to fifth place in its fourth week on sale.
Minus the PS4 retail edition of Minecraft (which UK databod Chart Track indicates as a different platform for Minecraft: PlayStation Edition) Another new release that ranked in the top 40 was Crimes and Punishments: Sherlock Holmes in 27th. Chart Track does not release sales figures but it did provide some platform differences for the top-rated games of the week. For instance the Shadow of Mordor split is 56 percent PS4 and 41 percent Xbox One and 3 percent PC (that does not include download sales) In contrast, Forza Horizon 2 geared in with a 73:27 proportion between Xbox One and Xbox 360.
