Are you looking for the Hogwarts map in Minecraft? You may have seen the huge Harry Potter Minecraft map mod that was released as an playable alpha version earlier this year. This mod recreates Hogwarts school for Witchcraft and Wizardry in a huge RPG game and map within Mojang's block builders. Now you can enter Hogwarts using Minecraft.



This map is provided by the mod group The Floo Network, the team behind this huge and impressive creation. They announced the Minecraft Hogwarts map's launch on Planet Minecraft. "Hello everyone! Get your wands ready! https://wolfscript.net/ We're finally releasing our brand-new map; an interactive RPG that runs in vanilla Minecraft!" the post announces, along with the unveiling of its new 'download trailer that you can view below.



The game's name"Witchcraft and Magic - The Floo Network', doesn't convey the fullness of what it can bring to the game. Brick-by-brick, almost all the famous features of Hogwarts as well as the Harry Potter world are faithfully depicted in the video clip. There are images of Hogwarts its vast, labyrinthine network of classrooms, dungeons, halls, and towers, populated with obstacles, puzzles and, well, magic from the series' universe. Unfortunately, we're convinced that there's no thing as a Minecraft Hogwarts seed that will magically reproduce the Hogwarts experience If you're looking to explore the halls of Hogwarts and discover the secrets of Hogwarts, here's how you can find the best Minecraft Harry Potter map and experience the magic for yourself.



How do I get the Hogwarts Map in Minecraft



If you're looking to dive into The Floo Network's Minecraft Hogwarts map, you can find it to download on Planet Minecraft. It is important to note that Witchcraft and Wizardry are only compatible with the Java Edition of Minecraft (versions 1.16 to 1.16.4).



If you're running Bedrock Edition that's available on PC, then you won't be able play this version.



Harry Potter Minecraft features



Where exactly can you go in this Minecraft Hogwarts map? You can explore the beautiful suburban street of Privet Drive, as well as the entire of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. You will find a huge banquet stuffed with delicious food and candles suspended like a genie as you enter the chambers. You will also find a variety of hallways and staircases decorated with portraits of famous students and an enormous library with a plethora of bookshelves.



It's not just a map , either, as you can cast spells using your magic wand, go through dark dungeons that have challenges based on magic or go shopping with your friends in Diagon Alley, or even meet some fantastic creatures like the Cornish Pixies, or the terrifying Dementors. You can even play Quidditch!



The map has been updated with the complete RPG storyline. Everything from buying your first wand, school books and robes at Diagon Alley, to experiencing your first flying lesson at Hogwarts. We won't give away any of the major story surprises, but we will say that you may need to cast a Patronus Charm in order to protect yourself from any potential baddies lurking under the shadows.



Best of all, in Minecraft Hogwarts' grounds, you'll find the most loved half-giant, Hagrid, tending to his gamekeeping duties.
