Hatebreed Announces New Perseverance Penne Merchandise
The Grammy-nominated band from the metalcore genre introduces a new line of merchandise. The band's "Perseverance Penne" is a limited edition item currently available at their Martyr Store. The $8 hat features the band's name as well as the pennant's logo. The hat is available in black and white and is available to women and men.


Hatebreed merch from Connecticut has created their own unique path in the metal scene since forming in 1994. They became famous in the metalcore world, which helped define the New Wave of American Metal in a short time as well as continuing to release albums at nearly daily rate. They have not been hesitant to experiment or try different styles of their music, which has made them stand out in the crowd of bands who've taken on the metalcore wave.


The latest album by Hatebreed, the Divinity of Purpose, is the eighth full-length release from the band to date. The album was released in 2016 by Nuclear Blast and delivers the same brutally heaviness that fans have come to expect from the group. The most notable change in the record is that it's more optimistic and hopeful than previous records.


Although Jamey Jasta's lyrics have always been a mix of bleakly beautiful and optimistically hopeful, this album feels like he is able to convey more of the latter than previous albums. This could be because of the striking contrast between the release date in 2021, and the incredibly depressing year that was 2010. The fact that an extreme metal group stay clear of the low-hanging fruit that is Nihilism will be a great source of inspiration for any metal fan.



In addition to more positive lyrics, The Divinity of Purpose features many of the band's iconic riffs and breakdowns that have become their hallmark over the years. The memorable riffs on "Own Your World" as well as the heart-pounding breaks that end "Boundless" will have you reliving some of the greatest moments from the band's career.


Hatebreed will be embarking on a major tour to support their latest album. The tour began on August 2nd in Kansas City and will continue until September 28th. Alongside dates with Hatebreed and Dying Wish, Limp Bizkit, Carnifex, and Bodysnatcher will also be on the bill. Check out the dates and ticket information here.
