Article Writing - Build Your Idea Cache
You're ready to write articles, but you don't possess a clue where to start. Don't let this stop you! I've some easy tips that will help create a solid cache of article ideas that may keep you writing.

Article Idea #1: Keep a Dream Journal

I'm not discussing recording your "night" dreams in a journal. This dream journal is really a book of your ideas. We writers have busy brains. We often get tons of ideas each day. Ideas we follow, while countless others are forgotten about. Buy a small, pocket-sized notebook and write, "My Dream Journal" on the cover. Each time you have an idea, write it in your Dream Journal. You'll build a multitude of ideas using this technique alone.

Article Idea #2: Read plenty of magazines and newspapers

I've gotten several ideas for fictional stories like this. The Internet has managed to get even easier for all of us to gain access to many news stories and articles online. If you cannot afford subscriptions, get online and execute a quick visit a handful of your favorite newspapers and/or magazines. Headlines and unique stories often spark another article or story idea. (Do not forget to build your "stash" in your Dream Journal!)

Article Idea #3: Read similar articles on a single subject

Do you know what you want to write about? A quick search on Google gives you similar articles on the same subject. how to install garage door opener will discover articles on a variety of subjects in free articles directories online as well. A few personal favorites are: Ezine Articles, Lady Pens, and Go Articles.

Article Idea #4: Do keyword research

I sometimes use a key word research tool when writing articles. You simply enter a word or phrase. After a few seconds, you'll get a listing of similar words and phrases that people have sought out. This is a without headaches way to get yourself a few ideas for articles when you're feeling stuck. One of the popular key word research tools is Wordtracker. Try it the next time you must write some articles and you'll most likely have more ideas than you should use.
