Paigepanda12346. The most creative user name in the universe. The girl I met online. My name is Mason, and i'm best friends with Paigepanda12346. We met online on a game. It was a game simulator where you could be animals. All kinds of animals. We met one day in a room in the game called the pillow room. I was sitting by myself, and she overheard me talk about bamboo. Bamboo is our inside joke now. It's how we met. I said bamboo was awesome, (I was being a little drunk anyways. Well acting drunk.) and she said she agreed. We started talking and we instantly became best friends. We didn't know at the moment, even though we were perfect friends.

She barely came on, and I never saw her. Then she started coming on a lot. Everything was normal, until we started having feelings for each other. It was bad, because I liked her back. She said she wanted to talk to me privately. This is how it went. "I need to talk to you privately" She said suspiciously. I was worried and so I agreed. "What is it?"
"I sort of uh.. um... It's hard to say."
"Just tell me."
"I sort of like you." I paused for a moment, then began typing.
"Don't worry, I like you too." Then I swear I felt her smile on the other line.
"What now?" She said breaking the silence.
"I don't know." There was awkward silence until she spoke up. "Lets just be best friends okay?
"Yeah" I just nodded and I lied and said I had to go. It was too awkward. We did try to date, but it only lasted a week. It didn't work out. It wasn't 'right'.

Everything was completely normal for the past 2 months. Then, I almost broke down when she said this.


"I have cancer."


My heart broke inside me. I felt like I couldn't breath. I typed back and I pretended to hug her by using *. She had to get surgery, and right now she told me she had to get stitches. Our story isn't over yet, I'll tell you later,
