– Being : Makhluk hidup biasa. Ex : Peri rumah.
– Spirit : Makhluk supranatural. Ex : Hantu
Klasifikasi SWG:
– X : hewan yang membosankan. Ex: Horklump.
– XX : hewan yang tidak berbahaya dan bisa dipelihara. Ex: Diricawl,Puffskein,Augurey,Bowtruckle,Peri.
– XXX : hewan masih dapat ditangani oleh penyihir. Ex: Plimpy,Billywig,Ashwinder,Bundimun,Doxy.
– XXXX : hewan yang hanya dapat ditangani oleh penyihir yang terlatih. Ex : Troll,Runespoor.
– XXXXX : hewan yang dikenal dapat membunuh penyihir, tidak mungkin untuk dipelihara atau dilatih. Ex : Acromantula,Basilisk,Centaurus,Naga,Chimaera.
