Background Story:
Naoya lahir dan besar di Jepang dalam lingkungan keluarga Takeshi. Ayahnya adalah direktur sebuah perusahaan saham, yang menginginkan Naoya dan saudara kembarnya mengikuti jejaknya dan berkarir di dunia bisnis, namun ia menolak. Naoya lebih memilih masuk ke kepolisian dan menjadi detektif di sana. Ia bahkan sempat bertengkar hebat beberapa kali dengan sang ayah, namun akhirnya ketegangan diredakan oleh sang ibu yang sangat disayangi oleh Naoya.
Ketika ada lowongan dari Interpol untuk siapa saja yang bersedia ditugaskan di sebuah kota metropolitan baru di Timur Tengah, Naoya memutuskan bahwa ini merupakan kesempatan untuk kabur dan melepaskan diri dari upaya sang ayah yang terus berusaha meyakinkannya agar berkarir di dunia bisnis. Dengan hanya memberitahu saudaranya, ia menerima tawaran tersebut dan berangkat ke sana.
