GIVEON Real name: Dezmann Evan, is the most recent star to emerge from Long Beach's fiery streets. The swoon-worthy performer is currently getting radio airplays with his aching ballads. His deep baritone sounded like a storm and his haunting lyrics express the fracturing nature of love in a manner that is loved by all fans across the globe.


His first big break came three years ago, when he landed an opening slot of 15 minutes for Baby Rose and Snoh Aalegra. To fill the slot quickly, he had to come up with new music, so he came up with an e-book based on the cities that each tour visited.


The rapper posted the snippet of music to Instagram, and it caught on. Then, Drake re-released it as "Chicago Freestyle" and it became one of the most popular songs of 2020 with more than 400 million streams on Spotify.



He's released two EPs and earned millions of streams. Giveon T-shirts with ethereal ambiance "Like I Would You" (and "Heartbreak Anniversary") have made an impression.


In the process of making music, Giveon has always had the ability to create music that are both personal and genuine. This is Giveon's biggest ability and has prevented him from succumbing or coasting to singles that could have satisfied his growing fan base, but have not won them over.


His debut full-length album"Give or Take" was released this summer. It's a deeply personal 15-track album that includes production from Bo-1da Jahaan Sweet, and Sevyn Thomas, as well as other.


While it's been a long journey to get this project completed, Giveon insists that the waiting was worth it. He's currently on a massive tour in support of the album and it's been an amazing experience to connect with his fans on stage for the first time as well as on TV.


Although he still has much to discover, Giveon is confident that his next step will be a great artist of soul. This is why he would like to write and record.


The singer also wants fans to experience his music the same way the way he experiences it. This is the reason he just announced the nine-week North American headlining tour in support of Give or Take.


The tour kicks off next week in Philadelphia and will travel throughout the US. It is Giveon's opportunity to get in touch with his fans prior to when the trip to Europe in the fall.


If you're looking for a moment, check out his latest single, "Lie Again." It's an emotional ballad which is sure to bring tears to your eyes. Director Adrian Martinez put together a awesome video to go with it, showing Giveon walking down the dark New York street as lights flash and speed by him.


If Giveon's debut album is something like his most recent tracks, it will be a very special project. We're eager to hear more from this talented musician in the coming months.
