My understanding is that MetArt pays something like $3-$6 per image in each set. So if a set contains 100 images and you get, say, $5 per image. You will make $500 per set. Shoot Four sets (same model, different outfits, sets, light, etc) in a day, that is $2,000 gross. Get a good MUA for $300 and pay the model $500. That leaves $1200 for the photographer who then has to slog his way through 1000 images to select the 400 to be submitted. That process would take say, 6 hours. Burn images (or ftp), file 2257 paperwork appropriately, etc and hope that images get accepted. Seems like the photographer could make a "day rate" of about $800. Not bad IF he/she can line up a number of models and a number of shoots to keep the cashflow coming (that would be the tricky part I would guess).
