IF CATS DISAPPEARED FROM THE WORLD (CHAPTER 1)

- Genki was taking drugs for his cold and headache
- medication didn't work
- Genki went to the doctor
- Genki was diagnosed with a brain tumor. grade 4.
- doctor explained medical options to Genki (but Genki wasn't listening)
APPOINTMENT FINISHED
- Genki felt sad and angry
- Genki says that he dropped his bag and staggered out of the doctor's room and ran out of the hospital until he reaches a foot of a bridge where he could no longer move and groveling on his hands a knees and cry
- Genki says that that's not what really happened
- Genki says when he found out about it the first thing that occurred to him is that he was only one step away from getting a free massage on his loyalty card
- finally, something hit Genki, a bottomless sadness.
- Genki says that he feels like he had a lot of unfinished business or there must be something he doesn't know. (But he didn't dwell on it)
- Genki wandered in daze to his home until he reached a station where young men were singing about life and how will it come to end and so you have to do what you want to do before the end
- Genki was very angry that he couldn't take it and that it was too much for him
- Genki collapses at his front door
- Genki wakes up, only God knows how long he had been lying there.
- Genki hears a 2 meows and realizes it's his Cat Cabbage that seemed worried for him
- Genki sits up
- Genki meets someone that looks like him
- Genki thinks of the word doppelgänger
- Genki finds out that Hes the devil but he isn't scared because he seems like a nice guy
- Genki inspects the devil and realizes they have both different styles of clothes, Genki wears black and white, and devil wears a colored Hawaiian shirt with palm trees and always in shorts-like someone permanently on holiday and Genki names devil Aloha
- devil says to Genki to write down 10 things that Genki wants to do before he dies
- Genki writes it down
-they go skydiving
- devil gives a shove to Genki
- Genki skydives
- as Genki falls back to earth, he went black
- Genki wakes up on his bed
- Genki pets his cat and realizes this is life is all about
- Genki says that there is not much to do in life
- Genki asks Aloha about why he came
- Aloha says that Genki will die tomorrow
- Genki speechless
- Aloha says that he came to make an offer
- Aloha explains that there's some sort of 'magic' that may increase his life span 1 day and all Genki has to do is to exchange something
- Genki is 30 and wants to die at 70 so that means he will have 14,600 items to exchange
- Genki chooses chocolate
- Aloha tells Genki to answer this question what happens if life without chocolate be like
- Genki says that the world would scream, cry and their blood sugar would fall, and they would live the rest of their lives in a state of lethargy, and people would get right to work on coming up with a new kind of sweet thing to replace chocolate with.
- Aloha says to Genki that he'll have to stand up and declare ''i would gladly give my life for chocolate's.''
-Aloha asks Genki does chocolate taste good
- Genki says it's not bad and offers him one
- Aloha says no, human food doesn't agree with me
Alohas curiosity gets the better of him and he takes one chocolate.
- Aloha loves it
- Aloha asks Genki if Hes sure to want to get rid of it
- Genki is sure
-Aloha is disappointed
-Genki and Aloha argue
- his boss calls Genki worried about him because he went to the clinic yesterday and Genki asks him for a week off and the boss agrees
-Aloha points the phone out saying we should exchange this
- Aloha sensed that Genki wanted to call someone before they exchange, and Aloha lets Genki call someone before they exchange
- Genki couldn't find anyone to call
- Genki remembers a number of someone he knew but not on his list
-Genki dials the persons number
-calls the person
- call ends
