Climate change- A natural phenomenon and has been occurring ever since the Earth was made. A change in the average weather of a given area or region.
Global warming- An increase of the global temperature.
Greenhouse effect- Radiation from the sun is absorbed by the Earth and not reflected back into space.
Some of the sun rays are absorbed by the Earth, some are reflected back into space, and some are trapped in the atmosphere.


Causes of global warming
1.) Burning of fossil fuels
- burning of natural gases, oils, and coal to generate energy.
- When they are burned, they release a huge amount of carbon dioxide
2.) Intensive Farming Due to Producing crops and Livestock Raising
- Farming use lots of Nitrogen-based fertilizers that releases nitrous-oxide and worsen climate change
3.) Deforestation
- Loss of trees and other vegetation.
4.) Human Activities

Effects of climate change
1.) Plants
- When the temperate gets warmer, plants start to bloom much earlier than planned
- Crops would suffer from rising temperatures
2.) Animals and their habitats
- Sample; melting of glaciers can affect arctic animals as they lose their habitats
-Wildfires affect animals that live on forests and may cause extinction
-These can cause huge waves of extinction
3.) Melting of glaciers
-Melting of glaciers can cause coastal erosion, and elevates storm surge as the sea level increases
4.) Changes in precipitation
-Wildfires will be expected frequently to happen, and more common
-Flooding will increase, frequent, and be more powerful
5.) Human Health

How to lessen these effects?
1.) Reduce carbon emissions
-Practice walking when it comes to short distances/destinations
-Use bicycles often than other vehicles
2.) Conservation of energy
-Unplug electronics when not in use
3.) Conservation of trees and plants
-Avoid illegal logging
-Plant more plants and tress
4.) Practice the 3Rs
-Reuse, reduce, recycle
5.) Use renewable energy
-Also known as "clean energy"
-Using solar panels help our environment
6.) Educate people
