A key chain or tag is a small piece made of metal, plastic, or some other material that can be worn as a pendant on your keys. The most well-known include ones with loops at the bottom that allows you to connect a key or other object to the loop. Other types include those that are floating or have rings that you can attach a charm or any other items, like Lucky Charms marshmallows.


They are a great way to showcase your favorite characters without sacrificing the functionality of your keys! These are also very affordable especially when you get them at the discount retailer, Hot Topic.


You can even have them transformed into a cell-shaded look to make them appear more real!


Keychains like these were extremely popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s, and many are in stock. These keychains were made by GE Entertainment. They also produce other interesting flat rubber keychains (see below). These keychains were very well-constructed and come with beautiful stock art.


They also have a lot of interesting poses that aren't usually found on other key chains. Key chains with these characters include several Sonic, Knuckles and Amy Rose characters. They are all beautifully sculpted and display amazing details.


A few were part of a promotion and are therefore rare. Some are a bit hard to spot because they feature a gray piece that looks like a name-plate that is attached to them.


Another collection of promotional key rings came out around SA1. They're made of white rubber, and are printed with the standard Sonic Adventure pose. These are a little difficult to find , but you can easily locate them on the internet. They're made with custom-cut edges but are easy to bootleg.


One of the coolest aspects about this promo is that it was actually a GIVE-AWAY with the Coca-Cola beverage in Japan! It's what happens when companies join forces to create fantastic promos.


This assortment features some of the best quality Sonic Adventure 1 figural keychains from the late 90s. These keychains are very well-constructed and come with interesting poses. They also have Amy wearing her vintage Sonic CD outfit, which is so cute!


They're lots of fun, and will look fantastic with any outfit.

There are some fascinating items in this selection that range from the older Amy keychains, through the floating versions, and even an unidentified metal item. The Tails one is copyrighted in 1991 while the Sonic one is from 1992, so they must have been a promo in the past!
