Lizzo Posters For Self-Acceptance
Sometimes more intimate and softer than anyone might expect Lizzo's follow-up track to her chart-topping hit "Juice" has plenty to say about self-acceptance.


Lizzo, a vibrant hip-hop artist hailing from Lizzo, has been an influential figure in body positivity since her arrival on the scene in 2017. Her infectiously positive songs and viral videos of her "ho and flute" and likable personality are what make her an unstoppable success story.



The Minnesota-based artist keeps proving she's much more than a poster child for body positivity in "Special," her upcoming album. Lizzo Merch 's a complicated human being that has been through a an arduous journey. It wasn't always easy but it was worth it in the end.


"Special" remains an excellent record, even with an array of upbeat and catchy songs. Although Lizzo Merch may not be so catchy or full of hooks as "Juice," it's nevertheless jam-packed with enthusiasm. The confidence is evident on the infectious title track as well as "Boy". lizzomerch is also a record that brings back jazz, blues and even twerking for a way of expression. Lizzo gives a great interpretation of the iconic song, "Cry Baby", with an amazing dramatic rendition.


She's a master at making the neo soul records that sounds fresh , while drawing upon her extensive musical background and the music twerking tradition of her hometown Minneapolis. She's not afraid to go all-out neo , as on tracks such as "Tempo" or "Everybody's Gay" However, she's also capable of turning delicate r&b songs into something more abrasive. "Break Up Twice', co-written by Mark Ronson, is a explosive ultimatum that is reminiscent of 'Doo Wop (That Thing) and 'Doo Wop (That Thing)' with its oozing the horns and the pounding bass. The track is about getting out of your comfortable zone and exploring new areas.


Her newest 'Watch Out For the Big Grrrls' reality series is a fantastic way to continue to send positive body messages However, parents should be aware that it contains lots of twerking, references to sexy clothing , blurred nudity and also cursing. The dancing isn't overly challenging however, the lessons show teach about being at ease with yourself and the confidence to break out of the comfort zone you've been living in are vital ones.


lizzomerch has been looking at Gov Ball as a major music festival. The group targets festivals with low levels of female performers and non-binary performers. The tracking of festivals' public lineups has shown that there is an increase in the quantity of female and non-binary performers performing at the festivals. However, Book More Women has asked festival organizers to do more to stop this trend.


It's unfortunate that the majority of the posters that are on the festival's website don't feature female artists or those who aren't males. Book More Women pointed out this issue in an annual breakdown of the lineup. They urged festival organizers to improve their gender diversity. The festival's organizers did not respond on the report but they've taken steps to improve their percentage of female performers.
