Oh, give me a home where the buf-fa-lo roam,
Where the deer and the an-te-lope play;
Where sel-dom is heard a dis-cour-a-ging word,
And the skies are not cloud-y all day.
Home, home on the range,
Where the deer and the an-te-lope play;
Where sel-dom is heard a dis-cour-a-ging word,
And the skies are not cloud-y all day.

“Lone Star Trail”
I start-ed on the trail on June twen-ty-third,
I been punch-in’ Tex-as cat-tle on the Lone Star Trail;
Sing-in’ ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay, yip-py yay!
Sing-in ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay!
I’m up in the mornin’ before daylight,
And before I sleep the moon shines bright.
Sing-in’ ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay, yip-py yay!
Sing-in ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay!
Oh, it’s bacon and beans ‘most eve-ry day,
I’d as soon be a-eatin’ prairie hay.
Sing-in’ ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay, yip-py yay!
Sing-in ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay!
My feet are in the stirrups and my rope is on the side,
Show me a horse that I can’t ride.
Sing-in’ ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay, yip-py yay!
Sing-in ki yi yip-pi yip-pi yay!
“There’s a Little Bit of Everything in Texas”
There’s a lit-tle bit of ev-‘ry-thing in Tex-as,
Just look a-round and you will see.
There’s a lit-tle bit of ev-‘ry-thing in Tex-as,
And a whole lot of Tex-as in me.
There are forty-seven states around it,
And each of them have treasures of their own.
And ev’rything they boast of I sure found it,
But we’ve got them all right here at home.
If you love old sunny California,
Or perhaps the hills of Tennessee,
No matter what you love just come to Texas,
And I’ll bet my boots you will agree.
There’s a little bit of ev’-rything in Texas,
And really I’m not braggin’ you see,
There’s a little bit of ev’rything in Texas,
And a whole lot of Tex-as in me.
“Deep In The Heart Of Texas”
The Stars at night are big and bright,
Deep in the heart of Tex-as;
The prai-rie sky is wide and high,
Deep in the heart of Tex-as.
The sage in bloom is like per-fume,
Deep in the heart of Tex-as;
Reminds me of the one I love,
Deep in the heart of Tex-as.

“Miles and Miles of Texas”
I was born in Lou-‘is-ia-na, down on the old bay-ou,
Raised on shrimp and cat-fish, and Mam-my’s good gum-bo.
I got that ram-blin’ fe-ver, said good-bye to Ma and Pa,
I crossed that old Red Riv-er, and this is what I saw:
I saw miles and miles of Tex-as, All the stars up in the sky.
I saw miles and miles of Tex-as, gon-na live there ‘til I die.
I rode up in the cow-town, the cra-dle of the West,
Just ask an-y cow-boy, he’ll tell you it’s the best.
I met a Tex-as beau-ty, got friend-ly with her pa,
I looked in-to her big blue eyes and this is what I saw:
I saw miles and miles of Tex-as, All the stars up in the sky.
I saw miles and miles of Tex-as, gon-na live there ‘til I die.
I start-ed tam-in’ bron-cos, made ev-‘ry ro-de-o,
‘Til I met a rough one, his name was Dev-il Joe.
I grabbed hold of his bri-dle to ride this old out-law.
He threw me from the sad-dle, and this is what I saw:
I saw miles and miles of Tex-as, All the stars up in the sky.
I saw miles and miles of Tex-as, gon-na live there ‘til I die.
“Texas, Our Texas”
Tex-as, our Texas! All hail the mighty state!
Tex-as, our Tex-as! So won-der-ful, so great!
Bold-est and grand-est, with-stand-ing ev-‘ry test;
O Em-pire wide and glo-rious, You stand su-preme-ly blest.
God bless you, Tex-as! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in pow’r and worth, Through out the ag-es long.
God bless you, Tex-as! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in pow’r and worth-------, Through out the ag-es long.
Tex-as, O Tex-as! Your free-born sin-gle star
Sends out its ra-diance to nations near and far.
Em-blem of free-dom! It sets our hearts a-glow
With thoughts of San Ja-cin-to and glo-rious Al-a-mo.
God bless you, Tex-as! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in pow’r and worth, Through out the ag-es long.
God bless you, Tex-as! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in pow’r and worth-------, Through out the ag-es long.
Tex-as, dear Tex-as! From ty-rant grip now free,
Shines forth in Splen-dor your star of des-ti-ny!
Moth-er of he-roes! We come, your child-ren true,
Pro-claim-ing our al-legiance, Our faith, our love for you.
God bless you, Tex-as! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in pow’r and worth, Through out the ag-es long.
God bless you, Tex-as! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in pow’r and worth-------, Through out the ag-es long.
