Mindfulness Meditation - Guided Meditation Exercise
Mindfulness meditation is about becoming aware and present. Inside our everyday activity, we often work on autopilot, which means that we have been locked inside out own mind and they are not aware of what is going on around us. Mindfulness Exercise
Step 1
Find a quiet place where you can do your meditation and a period where you know you won't be interrupted while meditating. Do that meditation for 10 to 20 minutes. Select a meditation posture that you will be comfortable with and take a moment to calm your mind and body before starting the meditation exercise.
Step 2
Close your eyes and turn your focus to your breathing. Unlike many other forms of meditation techniques, you'll alter your breathing or breathe consciously. You will instead observe your breathing. Pay attention to your breathing in and what sort of eye fills your system and expand your stomach. Spot the sensations within your body such as the temperature of the air and the feelings within your body. Notice these sensations but do not judge them in any way. You will only be observing.

Remember to only focus on now, and on the breath that you will be taking at this time and how that feels now. So when you exhale the air, you will no longer consider that breath but rather on the one that you are inhaling at this time. You also have to remember to relax your mind and body during this meditation. Try to sit still and allow your mind to relax and just benefit from the moment of peace.
When you feel like you are ready to end this meditation exercise, slowly open your eyes and take a deep cleansing breath.
