<h1>Samuel Ryder Sports Academy</h1>
The Academy Basketball team is coached by former professional Basketball player Will Hopper who most recently played in Europe and is currently coaching the Wales junior national team. He information on this website was correct at time of publication, however it is to be used as a general guide. The College regularly reviews its offer, and therefore courses, qualifications, facilities and fees may be subject to change.

Home fixtures are played in and around the Bexhill area, however away fixtures can be at venues throughout the South East and further afield, depending on progress in regional and national competitions. In addition to working with Bury Town and Team Bury, we also enter a team in the English Colleges FA Premier League. We've won the English Colleges FA national play-offs three times in the last ten years and have also won the English Colleges FA Knock-out Cup three times. We teach 6 different sports every 12 week term, rotating 2 sports every month.

School Leavers
You don’t have to be studying sport to apply for an Elite Sports Performer Bursary – all students are welcome. As part of our partnership with Saracens, students will have access to numerous coach education sessions held at Allianz Park. If successful in the trial phase, students wishing to join our academies, must meet the entry requirements of our Sixth Form offering and submit an application form following their choice of subjects. Each of our academies works with prestigious partners known for excellence in sport, ensuring that students have access to the best quality provision available. This gives you the freedom to participate in your favourite classes but also try some new ones as well. From fitness and personal training to mental wellbeing and prescribed exercise, there’s a service or session to support everyone, no matter how you feel, every day of the week.

Sports Hall
Regardless of where you fit in the Wiltshire College Academy of Sport, you will find yourself involved with teams, individuals and communities to play and contribute to the sports industry. Students follow a full-time academic programme whilst training and competing to a good standard, developing their playing ability and fitness levels alongside their career prospects. You will learn from some of the best AFC Rushden & Diamond® coaches at Moulton College. We will support you to achieve excellence in your academic studies and your football. All coaches are UEFA Licensed coaches who have extensive experience in academy youth football, non-league men’s football and the professional women’s game.

Put your family's fitness first with our family membership from only £1.25 per day for the whole family. Family Membership includes gym, functional training zone and classes for adults plus all junior activities for the kids. Pupils will attend active PSHE timetabled sessions, attend optional morning sessions and be supported with online recourses throughout the year.

The group members achievements will be reviewed on an annual basis, and those continuing to perform at the required level will maintain their place in the ‘Sport Academy’ program. The Sports Academy program offers a variety of bespoke opportunity to enhance the athlete. Below is a list of some of the opportunities we provide for our pupils. The Cricket Academy has now won the AoC Indoor 24 Cricket Regional Champions on two occasions , representing the AoC South East Region at the National Indoor 24 Championships at Edgbaston.

You’ll benefit from our extensive link with AFC Rushden and Diamonds® , allowing you to combine playing for Moulton and the club itself. Our links with the national and local county FA will provide opportunities to obtain nationally recognised coaching qualifications, gain invaluable work experience and build links for your future career. When I finished sixth form, I applied for osteopathy at university, however, I deferred my offer as I wanted to explore the possibility of becoming a sports coach and working in schools. I started off working at after schools clubs and holiday camps before joining the Rhino team, which has led to my position at Blisworth.

UEFA A licensed coach Mark Proctor played for Middlesbrough and Nottingham Forest making over 450 appearances as a professional, playing under Brian Clough, one of England’s greatest managers. The Dance Showcase is a platform for our students to perform their amazing talents to an audience. It consists of a wide veriety of pieces choreographed by both staff and students. Coached by Kim Hall, the Netball Academy gains a lot of interest across all age ranges.

Lbu Virtual Experience
All sessions will be delivered by UEFA qualified coaches and will be relevant and realistic to the game. Our aim is to challenge the players with as many game-related experiences as possible. The players will be central to the sessions and the players will be given their chance to express their opinions and thoughts. At Samuel Ryder Academy, we are proud to offer a unique opportunity that allows students to combine Sixth Form entry together with competitive sports programme that offers dedicated sports training. Our Academy for Sport is home to eight specialist sport academies, all offering first class training, coaching and playing opportunities for everyone. AECC University College provide sport science testing and support through their Sport Performance Centre facility to Bournemouth Collegiate School Sport Academy.

Student
The Football Academy boasts a well-planned and structured curriculum, and top fitness and SAQ sessions. Woodham Girls’ Football Academy gives girls the same opportunity as boys to access professional coaching and to play competitively. UEFA A licensed goalkeeper coach Andy Collett made over 235 professional appearances for Middlesbrough, Bristol Rovers and Darlington. After retiring from the game Andy went into professional coaching working with goalkeepers at Darlington, Oldham Athletic, Hartlepool United and York City. Welcome to Academy Sport, a thriving centre offering a vibrant mix of school, community and club based programmes.

Select An Activity Or Leisure Centre
Our Sports Academies are open to all year old students regardless of the combination of subjects that you choose to study. A typical flag session (non-contact) will involve learning passing and catching techniques, improving defensive skills, and introducing the strategy of the game. 콘텐츠블로그 offer sessions of both non-contact and full contact versions of the game. We offer free places for pupils who are entitled to free school meals. Our action-packed facility has different activities, we encourage everyone to get involved! We offer skateboarding, scooter, BMX, trampoline, tricking, gymnastics, parkour, freestyle ski & snowboard, inline, cheer & acro.

Search Courses
Once completed it is worth up to 64 UCAS points in addition to student’s main course choices. It has been designed specifically support young aspirational performers, understand what it takes to be a full-time athlete and provide them with the skills and knowledge. The Exeter College DiSE programme is run in partnership with Exeter Chiefs and is an RFU endorsed scheme for year old’s, requiring 12 hours per week of Rugby specific delivery alongside student’s full-time course. If so, apply to join the men’s Exeter College Rugby Academy in partnership with Chiefs and follow in the stud marks of your rugby heroes. Aspiring rugby players will get the chance to nurture not only their rugby talent, but also get first-class education and training.

Brock is one of the most successful Sixth Form colleges in the UK, offering A levels, Vocational, Adult Learning, Apprenticeships, Business courses. The coaches at ABS are all qualified to national standards and include 2 coaches who work with the England Junior National teams. We’re proud to be the number 1 academy for developing youth footballers across Yorkshire, catering for all players of all abilities aged 4 -16.


You don’t have to be studying sport to be a part of our Sports Academy – all students are welcome. We have a range of Sport and other vocational subjects as well as A level and GCSE qualifications to choose from at Uxbridge College. Students with promise will be recommended for county trials and linked with Saracens development pathway opportunities. We are proud to work with Watford Community and Education Trust , Saracens Rugby and Saracens Mavericks as part of our dedicated sports programme. We’ve also got scientific kit that you’ll find at Premier League and NFL clubs’ training centres. Phil built a reputation as a powerful midfielder during his stint in the Middlesbrough team during its "Golden Era", playing alongside the likes of Juninho, Emerson, Ravenelli, Boksic and many other internationals. After time as a professional coach throughout the country, Andy set up Premier Player Football Academy, the largest private coaching company in the North East.
