Fast food and Obesity

Fast food companies do not choose when, where and how much people eat; the people do. They are the
one who has to face the consequences instead of blaming the fast food restaurants for their own mistake. obesity is defined as being grossly fat or overweight. with growing body sizes and serious medical problems associated with obesity it is a problem that needs to be addressed. The Americans that face obesity today is a growing problem that affects more than half of the population.

The average fast food restaurant takes about 10 to 15 minutes to fix and receive your meal, where at home when you make a meal it takes anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour to make. A lot of Americans are always on the go, so they rely on quick and easy food to eat. fast food is tasty but on the other hand it's harming your body. most people buy fast food because it's cheap unlike healthy food. fast food are mostly baked foods that contain mainly starch and oils, meaning that they contain only a small portion of what a balanced diet has.

A home-cooked meal is often a better choice because it gives you control to pick healthier ingredients. not all fast food can be bad, it just depends on what the choice is. for example, get a small instead of a large, grilled instead of baked, and choose water instead of pop. fast food slows down the metabolism did you unhealthy ingredients in the calories they carry in them. people who eat fast food are at high risk of getting heart disease due to saturated fats.

cooking at home and fast food restaurants have many advantages and disadvantages. The reason why so many people go to fast food restaurants is to save time. in addition, fast food restaurants have drive-through so people don't even need to get out of the car. Home cook meals offers people more healthier benefits and quantity. However fast food is cheaper home cooked meal's are healthier and has more nutrients.

eating fast food once in a while won't hurt you but too much of it can cause serious problems. most fast food contains too many calories, salt and cholesterol to eat every day, or even once a week. people are always busy with work, school, sports and other extracurricular activities so no one ever has time to cook, people are always going out to eat. dining out and eating fast food can be very expensive if it is done on a regular basis. at the grocery store if people stock up it'll be a whole lot easier, and if people use coupons a lot cheaper too.

Home cook meals are a lot healthier compared to fast food meals. it is important to choose home-cooked meals every fast food you did the benefits that come along with it. preparing food at home is more cleaner than at a fast food restaurant. at restaurants it is possible to get an oversize serving unlike at home when you control the portion you take in. making food at home saves a lot of cash and it is much healthier.
