Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was conceived in Moscow on the 3rd of July 1985. She studied in both London and Moscow and graduated with a Masters Degree from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla was the founder of the IDEA campaign that promotes awareness and action on environmental concerns in Azerbaijan. IDEA is focused on young people and working with them to find solutions to the environmental issues that we face.
She was named the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Russia in May 2007. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation is a foundation that aids in the country's social and economic development. It implements diverse initiatives in the fields of education, sport, culture, technology, and the environment. In 2011, she was appointed Vice-President.

Leyla Aliyeva, a Moscow-based journalist, founded "Baku" magazine in 2007. It offers the chance to discover Azerbaijani culture as well as art. Leyla was the founder of "Fly to Baku" an exhibition of contemporary art from Azerbaijan. The London exhibit was officially launched and traveled to all capitals of Europe including Paris (Berlin), Moscow, Rome, Rome and Vienna.

Leyla Aliyeva launched "Justice for Khojaly" campaign on May 8th, 2008. It marked the anniversary of Shusha's occupation. The campaign is taking place across more than 30 countries. It aims at raising international awareness of Karabakh conflict as well as Khojaly Genocide.

Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in 2008. Leyla Aliyeva On April 18, 2009, Leyla Aliyeva was appointed the Chairwoman of the Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) which assists Azerbaijani youth and those living in Russia.
