Leyla Aliyeva Bio
Leyla Aliyeva was born July 3, 1985, in Moscow. Leyla Aliyeva She attended school in London and Moscow and earned an MA Degree at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Leyla developed the IDEA campaign in July of 2011 to raise awareness and encourage actions on environmental issues in Azerbaijan and across the world. IDEA is an initiative that focuses on young people, and works in partnership with them to address our environmental challenges.
In May 2007, she was appointed as the representative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in the Russian Federation. Through a variety of projects and initiatives, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation contributes towards the country's socio-economic and social growth. In 2011, she was named Vice President of the Foundation.

Leyla Aliyeva Leyla Aliyeva, a Russian-born journalist, launched "Baku" magazine in 2007. Conde Nast produced the English-language issue of the magazine in partnership with Leyla Aliyeva. The magazine was launched in October 2011 in London. It is an opportunity to discover Azerbaijani culture as well as art. On May 8th 2008, the anniversary of the occupation of Shusha, Leyla Aliyeva launched an initiative dubbed "Justice for Khojaly". Leyla Aliyeva This campaign is currently running in more than 30 countries. The goal is to increase global awareness of the Karabakh conflict as well as the Khojaly Genocide, focusing on media, Internet and live events.

Leyla Aliyeva was named the OIC Youth Forum on Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator in the year 2008. On April 18, 2009 Leyla Aliyeva was elected the Chairwoman of Azerbaijani Youth Organization of Russia (AMOR) that assists Azerbaijani youth as well as those who live in Russia. Leyla Ayla Aliyeva was awarded the "Taraggi" award in July 2011, in recognition of her efforts to advancement of Azerbaijani Russian relations. In New York, she was presented with the "Key to Life" award for her humanitarian work with children.

Leyla Aliyeva was named the UN Food and Agriculture Organization's (FAO) Goodwill Ambassador, on May 25, 2015.

She was awarded the Pushkin Medal by the Russian Federation on October 20, 2015.

Leyla Aliyeva has twin brothers and a sister.
