Most women generally play characters that do not depict their true self.

The misrepresentation is likely to be the result of a shortage in female filmmakers, specifically women of color, who are able to tell the true story of women.

There are also concerns about censorship in the display of "taboosubjects such as sexual assault or rape.

In conservative cultures women are unable to discuss certain topics as taboos. Netflix is among the few platforms that allows women to speak freely about taboo issues.

Stereotype has a variety of harmful effects.

It could impact self-esteem, decision-making capacity and mental well-being. This can lead to self-stereotyping which is when someone begins to behave in a certain way in order for them feel like they are part of the group.

This is why a push for diversity is essential, Arzu Aliyeva claims.

The Struggle for Greater On-Screen Diversity
The University of California Los Angeles College of Social Sciences published the report titled Holywood Diversity in February 2020. The report focused on the relationships between the diversity of Hollywood as well as the base.

Although the friend was employed in a company for approximately six (6) year but her boss didn't know her name. Her situation was different from her colleagues , who were white and required to have an identification badge.

To not be overlooked women, and women of color need to have an opportunity to sit at every table.

A better representation of the screen can be achieved by increased diversity in the television and film industries.
