According to the complaint filed by the Morelia Group, Jeff Pastor, a councilman in the Oakley Community Council, sent an email to a local developer seeking to purchase a piece of property for a retail project. The email identifies a Morelia Group CEO Christopher Hildebrant as one of the three people interested in buying city-owned property. Pastor was arrested on corruption charges last November.

The company offers a wide range of services. Its construction projects range from apartment buildings to shopping malls. The company owns various retail properties and is currently developing a multi-tenant development in Oakley. The Crossings of Oakley is estimated to cost $12 million. Oakley Parke will be a 30,000 square-foot restaurant and retail development. The group is also working on a $150 million mixed-use project on the site of the old Oakley Mall.
Morelia Group has construction projects within blocks of each other

If you're looking for new retail space in Oakley, Ohio, you might want to look at the latest developments by the Morelia Group. The real estate development firm has several retail properties under construction, including a 20,000-square-foot shopping center and entertainment center on Madison Road. It has also purchased the adjacent property at 4710 Madison Road and will develop it as a mixed-use development.

The HW-STUDIO firm designed the mercado 'cantera' project, a 5,000-square-foot gastronomic market in an 8x40-square-meter warehouse two blocks from the main square of the city. The studio took advantage of the quiet location and studied the relationship between historical and contemporary archetypes in the development's design. Eventually, the project was approved by the City Council.
Morelia Group's lawsuit against Weidman

The Morelia Group CEO Christopher Hildebrant is suing Sycamore Township Trustee Tom Weidman, alleging he solicited bribes from property owners who sold the township land. The lawsuit claims Weidman forgeried emails and spread a "vicious lie" about the businessman. Hildebrandt is confident that he can prove the allegations against him.

In an attempt to make the case against Weidman more compelling, Hildebrant has filed a lawsuit in Warren County. The judge ruled that the claims are barred by Ohio's one-year statute of limitations, which limits lawsuits to one year. The lawsuit was initially filed by Weidman's attorney in February and cost taxpayers $15,000 to respond to it. Weidman, meanwhile, has not responded to the lawsuit.
