Write a note in this Salvation is A Gift of GOD and cannot be earned by good works like The Catholic doctrine taught. Thus, Lutheranism of German royalty expressed a desire to have other choices with regard to religious worship service. Not satisfied with either Catholicism or Lutheranism, the Germans filed a document known as The Protestation.There-by, comes the name, "Protestant". Although this explaination is certainly a
graphic oversimplification of the details of these issues; you get the general idea. Putting two and two together, it's not hard to see that modern day Protestant Christianity and it's denominations grew originally out of The Catholic Church. This fact further explains why the denomination relies on it's tradition like it's parent The Roman Catholic Church. The word "catholic", literally means, "universal", therefore, viewed correctly, the conclusion must be that although a particular denomination practices worship according to it's own dictates, while following the Roman Catholic model of obeying man made tradition, it is a defacto Catholic system. This is keenly illustrated in Sunday worship, and the celebrations of Christmas and Easter. These events, which are common and mutually accepted and taught by the modern "Christian" church are all customs that grew out of rank paganism and were incorporated into Christianity by the originators of Roman Catholicism. Many such traditions were brought into the church by Emperor Constantine and given Christian sounding names. One such example is the Roman Saturnalia, an event to worship the sun, now celebrated as Christmas. Sunday worship, known in the time of Constantine, himself a sun worshipper, was "the venerable day of the sun." This formed the basis for Sunday worship and over time The Roman Catholic Church enacted doctrines and justifications for the change of the Biblically stated weekly Sabbath to it's Sunday doctrine and as you can see, the Protestant church also followed suit. Numerous statements and arguments may ensue the idea that The Sabbath, created by GOD at the beginning of time, for mankinds benefit has been changed by CHRIST with HIS SACRAFICE but HIS WORDS in Matthew 5:17 and 18 absolutely provide the proper answer.. It's really easy to share with others. Click here ...
