Slips, trips, and falls are the biggest cause of workplace accidents across many industries around the world. Man Down Alert Whether falling from a height, tripping on wiring, or other hazards, falls can be serious and even fatal to employees.
A Man Down Device is an effective way to protect lone workers who work alone or out of sight in a dangerous environment, such as construction sites, warehouses and factories. Providing them with the ability to raise help in the event of an accident, is critical for ensuring their safety and meeting their legal duty of care.
We offer a range of Man Down devices that can be used in any location. These can be worn by your employees and are available on the StaySafe app or through our wearable device V.BTTN.
Our 'Fall Detection' system will detect and raise an alert if an employee falls. The app will send an alarm to their emergency contacts and, if the user does not respond to the alert, it will escalate it to our state of the art BS:8484:2016 accredited Alarm Receiving Centre Monitoring where it will be sent directly to police forces throughout England and Wales.
In addition to 'Fall Detection', our 'Man Down' feature is also built into the device and raises an alert if it is stationary for a pre-defined time period and tilted through a defined angle. The device can be worn on the neck and if it is placed tight to the body, it will automatically trigger an alarm if the orientation of the device changes from its pre-programmed position.
