Yoshitomo Nara Prints
Yoshitomo Narada, a Japanese artist, whose works depict children express emotion in various ways is a favorite of cults. His art has been recognized for their capacity to convey emotions such as the struggle and rebellion, quiet, and contemplation. Nara is also an innovative artist in the world of art, experimenting with a variety of media including painting, drawing, photography and sculpture.

The Artist

Yoshitomo Narada, sometimes known as the "father of manga", was born in Japan in 1959. He was one of the most notable figures to emerge out of Japan's Pop art movement of the 1990s. His work features ethereal, big-eyed, childlike characters that can be threatening, but at other times sweet and sweet.

Nara's work is an expression of his experiences in life, and their subject matter frequently depicts a world of animals, children and human beings that are frequently armed with weapons. Though the artwork is influenced by manga and anime but it also draws inspiration from punk rock as well as other popular music genres that were popular in the 1970s.

His paintings are deceivingly straightforward, showing an individual subject with comically confident lines, frequently punctuated with small particulars. While these people look at first like they are innocent and vulnerable however, they're usually carrying weapons and often appear to be angry or angry. They are likely to be irritated by being awakened from a nap, or they may be manifesting their hatred in undiluted ways through their eyes that are wide.

Nara was educated at the Aichi University of Arts in the 1980s. He later attended the Kunstakademie Dusseldorf, Germany. His European studies and immersion in Western pop culture (including Disney animation and comic books) led to his style of work.

He began using more complex languages in the 1990sand began to incorporate the references to Eastern and Western cultural traditions in his work. He was particularly influenced by the German Bauhaus movement's influence on Japanese art.

His works often create an impression of a temporary relationship between the the artist and ground through the layering and erasing of colors on the canvas. The emptyness of space and the absence of time is a key part of his practice and the artist uses his artwork to express an intimate feeling of freedom which is usually associated with feelings of being in a state of solitude or even rebellion.

Yoshitomonara 's most recent work that was influenced by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake (and Tsunami) in Japan, marked a shift in his approach to art. Nara's style evolved into a more thoughtful and meditative style. These changes in Nara's approach to art were evident in his exhibitions Milky Lake/Thinking One (2011) at Pace New York and Ceramic Works And Thinking One 2017 at Pace Hong Kong.
