His father the elder T.E Oyakhilome, was one of the founders of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City. He was a true source of inspiration for his son, Pastor Chris. It is truly an honor to have been raised in an Christian household.

We can feel the pride that his father felt as his son began spreading the Gospel message of Jesus Christ being our Savior. The young Chris Oyakhilome must have felt a tremendous impact from the work of his father. When he was nine the young man began his first mission.

Chris Oyakhilome lives in the spirit of honoring your parents. Pastor Chris has paid tribute to his father by conducting prayer groups at university and delivering sermons to a crowd of millions.

Pastor Chris honored his mother Angelina as she celebrated her 80th birthday with a special celebration in Benin.

She is known as the "quintessential Matriarch", and she is revered for her fairness, grace and admiration. She is a loving mother and grandmother who instilled her divine grace in her son.

Super Siblings

Angelina Oyakhilome was married to Tim Oyakhilome. They had two more children. Reverend Ken is Pastor Chris’s brother. He has shared his wisdom and changed many lives as an eminent Pastor at Christ Embassy's Houston, Texas branch. Additionally, he is an executive council member for Christ Embassy Central.

Katty Worghiren who is the sibling of Pastor Chris, is the director of the LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty started her career as an impressive member of the choir. Her songwriting skills have been credited as one of the most loved LoveWorld singers. She wrote the national anthem "I Believe In Nigeria".

Katty creates the Believers' LoveWorld Anthem's closing, emotional paragraph. Katty then adds this message to emphasize the importance and love of the Christian family.

The marriage of Pastor Chris has produced two beautiful daughters. Her recent wedding to Phillip Frimpong was among the most beautiful weddings in the whole of Africa. In a touching Instagram post, she shared her affection for Phillip.
