What are some good Fast x to watch with friends?
Brie Larson has shared some new details about Brie Larson's Fast X role as Tess, and it turns out she's connected to a major character in the series. In the cover feature for the latest issue of Total Film magazine(opens in new tab) that will be available on newsstands on Thursday on the 16th of April, the Captain Marvel star confirmed who is the character she's playing.


"Tess is Mr. No one's child," she revealed. "She is technically an Agency but she's sort of a bridge in a sense. She doesn't go along with the direction that the Agency's headed since her father is no longer there. She is convinced of the legacy her father started that is standing with Dom and with those of the Toretto family, and is fighting for that. Dom is aware that she has a strong mind and definitely is impressed that she's taken the time to talk to Dom and hopes to establish trust. What he wants from Tess is an exercise. If it's impossible, and she's able complete it, then that's family for life."

Played by Kurt Russell, Mr. Nobody is a covert agent who's appeared in a variety of Fast films that include Fast & Furious 7, The Fate of the Furious and F9 - alongside a mention on Hobbs & Shaw. We were last introduced to him in flashbacks where the actor helped Han fake his death in F9 however, his location apart from that was left pretty open-ended. After the capture of Charlize Theron's Cipher in the opening sequence of that movie, his plane crashed in Montecito however, viewers weren't given any confirmation of his fate. Larson's introduction could mean we'll know more about this about her character in Fast X.

Larson has added her character to Total Film(opens in new tab): "I would say Tess is a little bit of an unsolved mystery. She's associated with the Agency however she does her own thing and leans more towards the family side, but that means she has an awful lot to show. When Fast X full movie assigns her a difficult task that will require an enormous amount of effort and thought, and is also putting herself in danger and she isn't hesitant about it. I think that shows the person she is, and is willing to take on these lengths. She is willing to go to that extent because she wants to stand her family in the same way that his father was. She's also really clever. Tess excels at playing the game. She's not afraid to embark on her own quest to follow what is best for her."

Fast X, which marks the beginning of the end in the Fast & Furious series, is just a few months away. And it's no surprise that the latest instalment will once more be all about about family.

The trailer for the first season, which was released in the online world on 10 February revealed that the series has retconned the storyline in Fast Five, so that Jason Momoa's villain can actually be revealed as the son of the previous antagonist Hernan Reyes.

Evidently, the character of Momoa will have people wondering if Dom Toretto and co are actually the protagonists of their own story.

Director Louis Leterrier explained: "We are able to see them from afar. they're looking at us and saying, 'Take them out. They're bad guys and they took our vault'. That's what's interesting - in doing this you are guiding the viewers to reconsider everything they've seen throughout the entire series."

"Sure that's true, the experience you had was that it was the right way to go and the truths were seen from the perspective of Dom and his family. But the antagonists were able to offer their own perspective and their own truth, which is distinct from the other."

It's certainly an interesting take however, we're sure that Dom will never be the main antagonist in a Fast & Furious movie. So what is there to know regarding Fast X? Here's everything you need to be aware of.

Initially, Universal confirmed that Fast X was scheduled to debut on April 7 2023 (barring any delays and, of course). However, the date was changed little bit to 2023 May 19 which is the date the film has stayed.


On April 20, 2022 it was revealed that filming had started, with Diesel providing regular updates on Instagram. The filming concluded in late August 2022, after the film was filming in Italy as well as Portugal.
