Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited a number of facilities in Baku

Baku, September 30 (AZERTAC). Arzu Aliyeva and Leyla Aliyeva were today in Baku to see the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Vice-President Leyla Aliyeva's boarding school special for children No12 as well as the Shuvalan Settlement's summer camp at orphanage No1 Narimanov District Psycho-Neurological Orphanage, as well as the Downs Syndrome Association in capital.

Arzu and Leyla Aliyeva, vice-presidents of the Foundation, visited first Khazar District special boarding School No12.

Mrs. Leyla and Mrs. Arzu were told by the institution that they have been teaching disabled children since 1969.

The facility was rehabilitated by Mehriban Aliyeva First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2010.

The boarding house can sleep up to 141 children aged 6-14 years old.

The facility, which can accommodate up to 96 children, has the goal of integrating children into the local community as well as offering rehabilitation.
