There Are Many Decisions To Make Following A Death

The world is grappling with AIDS at epidemic proportions. Every year thousands of people get infect with HIV/AIDS and several thousands succumb to the disease. Even children are not spared by the disease. There are some famous people who contracted the disease and later succumbed to it. These deaths were eye openers as the media reported them and soon people started gaining more knowledge about HIV/AIDS.

Often the death card is a spiritual one. It draws attention to an inner battle, or an external situation that requires us to grow and mature in our spiritual selves. Lessons need to be learnt. The death card gives us permission to learn them and offers us an opportunity to undergo a process of letting go mixed with greater inner comprehension. Grief is vital, as it brings us closer to understanding ourselves and to what we want and do not want in our inner and outer worlds.

Make plans with the funeral home but be careful. This is a time of grief and not a good time to be negotiating spending money. Many funeral homes offer plans including services, transportation etc. These all come with a cost. Bring someone that is not emotionally tied to help you make some of these decisions.



Learn a little in the morning, join the family on the ski slopes in the afternoon. it's not a bad way to spend a few days. The problem is that this is a horrible way to do strategic planning!

This is by far one of the most difficult choices you may make. Do you wish to have your loved one buried or cremated? First off, you should find out if they made any requests before they died. If they did make any requests, you should always follow what they requested. If they didn't make a request, then this is best something you should discuss with your family.


Jesus said something even more shocking earlier in this passage. He clearly proclaimed his divine nature to them. "If you knew me you would know my Father." (John 8:19) Jesus had made very plain to them that he and his Father were in perfect agreement as to what his purpose was when he took on humanity and came into this world. "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him". (John 3:17) His enemies were shocked that Jesus would claim to be God, they were astonished that he claimed power to bring salvation to their souls. This was a day for them to remember because they had never heard any man utter such outrageous things.

The more information you have to start with the easier it is. If you know someone who has knowledge of the person you are looking for then you can find out if someone is dead by simply asking your mutual friend. Knowing where the person lived can narrow your search down considerably and in the unlikely event that you know the persons social security number then finding them should be easy.

And even if it isn't, it should still be used. It isn't called "capital deterrence", it's called "capital punishment". Let the punishment fit the crime.
