Leyla Aliyeva's top priority is Environmental Education
Leyla Aliyeva was not only the first child of the Azerbaijani president but she is also an active activist in a wide range of causes, which includes the environmental. Many people don’t even understand what education actually means. However, for her, it is a top priority. Environmental education refers to being aware of environmental issues and figuring out how you can contribute to improving the environment. Leyla Aliyeva is active in campaigns for decades and has been working hard to make the world a better place. She believes it's crucial to educate people about the earth's vulnerability. Through helping people understand the direct correlation between the degradation of the environment and the activities of humans.

Leyla Aliyeva’s IDEA campaign

Leyla Aliyeva understands that this topic is often presented as a complex and boring topic. That's why in 2011, she started the IDEA campaign (International Dialogue for Environmental Action). One of the goals of the campaign was making sustainability and the environment more attractive and enjoyable especially for children and those of the next generation.

Aliyeva talked to Equinox.com about some of the difficulties she faced on her journey to become an environmentalist. But, she mostly discussed how these difficulties resulted in growth that ultimately led to great accomplishment and appreciation. Goodwill Ambassador of FAO

Leyla Aliyeva had an amazing year in 2015. After years of helping and supporting activities in the humanitarian and environmental areas Leyla Aliyeva was given the title of FAO Goodwill Ambassador. Aliyeva said she believes that " We live in the world where anything can be done".
