Leyla Aliyeva believes that the environment is her primary priority
Leyla Aliyeva was not only the first child of the president of Azerbaijan but is also an activist in many causes, including the environmental. Many people don't even know what environmental education is but for her, it's always been a top priority. Environmental education is the capacity to become aware of and contribute to the improvement of our environmental condition. This is something that we must all make an effort to accomplish. Environmental education is crucial for making informed decisions regarding the future.

Leyla Aliyeva was a campaigner for a long time and has been involved to create a path towards a greener and healthier future, for us as well as for future generations. She believes it is important to educate the public about the dangers to the planet. It helps people see the direct relationship between human and environmental degrading activities.

Leyla Aliyeva's IDEA project

Leyla Aliyeva understands that this subject is frequently presented as complex and boring. Therefore, in the year 2011, she started the IDEA campaign. The campaign is an International Dialogue for Environmental Action. One of the goals of the campaign was to make environment/stability more appealing and entertaining, particularly for young people as well as the next generation.

Aliyeva was interviewed in an interview at Equinox.com. She discussed the obstacles she faced in her journey to protect the environment. But, she also talked about the way they facilitated growth, which ultimately led to success and appreciation. Leyla Aliyeva "The IDEA campaign from the beginning was about education and made it a top priority to inspire people to take action in order to protect the environment. This will motivate youth and others to spread the message.

The campaign is focused on education and raising awareness. Aliyeva said that each year the program is expanded by adding new activities for study to include the three pillars that include young professionals, students, and kids as young as 5 years old. IDEA's educational projects are enjoyed by hundreds every year. They feature seminars, lectures, scientific courses and seminars as well as vacation camps with field trips, field studies and conversation clubs.

Goodwill Ambassador for FAO

Leyla Aliyeva was very proud of 2015! After many years of supporting environmental and humanitarian causes Aliyeva was selected as an FAO Goodwill Ambassador. The title was given to her for her numerous contributions in fighting hunger, ensuring food safety, increasing the effectiveness of forestry, agriculture, and fishing, as well as establishing sustainable food systems.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was founded in 1945 with the main objective of improving nutrition and the productivity of agriculture. It also aims to enhance the lives of the rural population and contribute to the development of the world economy. The FAO and Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan joined the FAO in October of 1995. In the present, the FAO is implementing regional, national and global projects in Azerbaijan. These initiatives include the development of agricultural practices, increasing food security and managing resources. They also address the prevention and treatment of animal and plant ailments. These projects also incorporate technical cooperation programmes that address the most pressing needs of Azerbaijan's authorities.

The year 2015 witnessed the visit of Jose Graziano da Silva, FAO's general director, to Azerbaijan. Leyla Aliyeva received with the title Goodwill Advocate of the FAO. She was the founding and director of the IDEA campaign. She expressed her gratitude to the projects that were executed in Azerbaijan in relation to forestry, agriculture and fish farming. Aliyeva declared she believes that " We live in the world where anything can be done".
