Oliver Tree Hats a Fan
Having racked up 12.3 million followers on TikTok, Oliver Tree has become one of the most popular meme artists in the world. But at the same time, his abrasive personality has led him to be criticized for his inane gimmicks and unintentional trolls.

In a bid to please his audience, Oliver Tree has often made it his mission to change his outfit at least twice during each show. This is a common trend amongst rappers who try to keep their sets fresh and interesting. But it's a bad idea when a gimmick can distract from an artist's music, and Tree's schtick is certainly no exception.

At a recent show in New York City, a video of Oliver Tree beating up a fan went viral. In the clip, Tree can be seen throwing a fan on the ground and taking a swing at him. He's then quickly removed by security and the show resumes.

The scuffle began after the fan had attempted to place their hat on Tree's head before he entered the stage. According to TMZ, Tree did not take kindly to this.

It's unclear whether this was a genuine attempt to storm the stage, or just a random fan who had no idea who Tree was. Whatever the case, it's a shame Tree did not take a more lenient approach.

While Oliver Tree has a reputation for being a crazy entertainer, his concert in Los Angeles was not an over the top riot. He had two opening acts in Sueco and 347aidan to prep the crowd for a fun-filled night of comedy.

Before heading onstage, Tree wore a pink windbreaker and oversized JNCO jeans that looked like the cover of his debut album, Ugly Is Beautiful. Throughout the night, he would change into a variety of outfits and dance around the stage.

He also played a lot of songs from his latest album, Cowboy Tears, including "Cowboys Don't Cry" and "Alien Boy."

There was a huge array of cowboy hats throughout the crowd, most of which were spotted in the front row. Some fans even wore wigs that resembled Oliver's blonde bowl cut mullet.

The crowd was pretty young, which was understandable given the popularity of TikTok, but he had enough energy to keep everyone engaged throughout the show. It was hard not to get involved in the craziness, and his jokes were a mixture of hilarious rants and inspirational TED Talks.

His witty antics are the reason why Tree is so successful, but they can also make his show feel exhausting at times. He tries to engage with the crowd too much, often making exaggerated threats, and his constant demand for attention can be overbearing, especially when he's not singing.

But Tree's acrobatics and dancing keep the audience entertained, so it's worth the price of admission to see him perform in person. He's not going anywhere anytime soon, so this is a show you should definitely attend.
