Countries above the world as the movement of economic globalization gowns, it also affects their locals and business programs.

Studying how this situation affects hospitality industry we can found that the prices of travelling has changed and started new models of business such as LOW COST airlines. Also globalization has created some easier ways to travel ando mor affordable. That gives more choices and business programs on all the hospitality industry with the creation of international standards.

2. Why is service such an important part of the hospitality and tourism industry?

Service is the core of a bussiness program. Clients like a family or a lonely traveler wil tell or rate on social media websites the experience that they have been through. So the memories about the service will provide an importante influence for other potential clients

Early Hospitality In this time, the hoteliers were always hospitable as they felt it was in accordance with their well-being and those of others.

Medieval Period This was the era that started with English travel and excursions when they built inns as their private residences.

The nobility used to stay in the monasteries.

Then came into existence the caravanserais that provided resting destinations for the caravans along Middle Eastern routes along with the monasteries and abbeys.

Industrial Revolution its the birth of the modern hospitality industry as we know it

4. Technology is affecting the hospitality industry in a number of different ways. Consider the lodging sector. What are some changes that technology has made in this area? What are the advantages and disadvantages of these changes?

In many ways technology has been an influence on the lodging sector, with the arrival of internet. Many hostels and hotels has to manage certain level of standard that clients demands. The advantage is that now is more easy to get to the people and the clients and to know what they expect on a hotel, the disadvantage is that if you do not do it you probably fail on business.

5. Imagine that you are the general manager of a hotel. What "moments of truth" would exist for your hotel? What could you do to make a difference in these situations?

In my hotel for example we would have a situation in which potential clients enter to the facilities and my AC machine would broke. That would definitely be a moment of truth. I could offer free water to all clients while Im calling the fixer.
