<h1>Skillz Sports Academy</h1>
We have fourteen halls of residence, with the option of en-suite or shared bathroom facilities for you to apply for. Online courses available in business, IT, care and more, to study at home when it suits you. You will receive training from a highly-qualified Academy coach for a minimum of three hours per week.

This gives all athletes the ability to continue their rehabilitation programme throughout the year with expert guidance and support. Sports Academy Interest Form
GC Sports Academies are a great opportunity to develop yourself in your chosen sport, with training Monday afternoons and competing in fixtures every Wednesday during term-time. From local and national leagues, with home and away fixtures, to the AoC tournaments, our students have successfully competed in a whole host of sporting events. Our tailored, high quality, affordable coaching helps your child develop the best in themselves. Whether it's to become more active, develop skills, build self-confidence, create good life habits or excel as a truly great athlete- our unique model works. The new and exciting partnership between Bristol All Golds and SGS provides a unique and unmissable opportunity to excel in the game of rugby league as a player or sporting professional. All sessions will be delivered by UEFA qualified coaches and will be relevant and realistic to the game.

Our mid-week training session will be starting on Thursdays at the end of April/Early May 2015. Tours are a regular part of netball at Samuel Ryder Academy - the next senior tour will be in 2022, where students will spend 2 weeks playing, training and experiencing netball and culture in the Southern Hemisphere. We can accommodate badminton, five-a-side football, netball, cricket and basketball. The Barnsley College Sports Academy is committed to supporting elite athletes, combining sporting and academic excellence, and has a number of Sports Bursaries to award to our elite athletes who meet specific criteria. The Academy Basketball team is coached by former professional Basketball player Will Hopper who most recently played in Europe and is currently coaching the Wales junior national team.

This course includes a Level 2 Gym Instructor Qualification and crucial information on how to develop and implement personal fitness programmes. There is also a full range of competitive opportunities for you to achieve county, regional and national call-ups within your sport. This includes opportunities with British Colleges Sport and national governing bodies’ talent identification systems. Sports Therapy Academy
The Women’s Basketball team competed well in the regional cup and reached the semi-finals in the cup in 2019. Also, Academy students have completed the ‘Basketball Activators Award’ course, which will assist them with coaching in the future. A member of the Women’s Basketball team at Bexhill College won an award at the Sussex Sports Awards.

Welcome to Academy Sport, a thriving centre offering a vibrant mix of school, community and club based programmes. Academy Sport opened in November 2007 and is situated on the site of Westminster Academy. Academy Sport is managed by Westminster Academy, in partnership with Westminster City Council. Our industry-standard facilities and experienced teaching team provide our students with the skills businesses truly need.

Since joining the academy in 2017, Annalise has shown dedication and passion for her sport and has achieved great things. As a member of the academy since 2019, Jacob is a passionate Goalie who protects his house and has achieved a great deal in a short space of time. Hr Sports Academy
You must be studying a full time programme at the College and be aged between 16 and 19. Membership of a Sports Academy is for one year and to extend this, you will need to perform at a high level throughout the year. Your previous commitment to attendance, punctuality and performance standards will be taken into account. The Sports Academy is a talent development system designed to help you become the best athlete you can be in your chosen sport. You could perfect your performance or undertake scientific research as part of your undergraduate or postgraduate degree - our facilities help you prepare for your dream career in sport. Since joining the academy in 2015, Amy represented Scotland at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and was the GB team captain at the World Junior Games 2017. Growing from strength to strength, Amy has achieved a great deal and has plans to achieve more. The Huddersfield New College Sports Academy programme is in its 21st year. 2000 saw the creation of the Men’s Football Academy, since then five other academy programmes have been added, the most recent being the Rugby League Academy, which is supported by the Huddersfield Giants.

New Classes Timetable Announced
Ensuring our players are in the best physical condition they can be is really important to us. That's why we have dedicated staff working on everything from injury prevention to rehabilitation and mobility sessions. We have a range of Sport and other vocational subjects as well as A level and GCSE qualifications to choose from at Uxbridge College. Weston College’s Academy of Sport recognises the abilities and efforts of our top athletes and aims to support them to achieve their potential. We are facing a child obesity crisis; 1 in 3 children leave primary school obese. Combining 80% classroom learning with 20% industry placement, T Levels prepare you for careers in construction, healthcare or digital support services.



The Sports Academy includes athlete and coach education workshops designed to support and compliment learning within each of the sports programmes. We are proud to have a rich history of sporting success as one of the best sporting colleges in the county. Surprisingly, the school holidays are when children are the least active. Studies show that children lose up to 80% of their fitness they have built up during time due to lazy time off. Our camps are full of fun sports and activities such as Martial Arts, Football and Basketball as well as taking part in Arts and Crafts. This season we are looking to set up some games against Pro and Semi clubs, this will give the students a chance to play against the very best players at their age level.
