For the past 16 years I would never choose to see any band before the Biscuits. But today, I’s rather see Dogs in a Pile over the Biscuits. Ironically, their jams are better (most bands jams are better than Biscuits right now). They have an amazing drummer, who gets a little filly. He just has to dial it back a bit. He knows how to make it count at the right times, but he’s overplaying too often. So many jam bands killing it right now: Aqueous, Phish, UM, Dopapod, and so many funk or fusion bands jamming hard as f*** (excited to see Kick the Cat at Catskill). But boy, my Biscuits are in a weird spot forcing these bad Disco songs. And apparently they have MORE mediocre untz edm disco pop songs they’re planning on debuting. They’re forcing themselves into a lone that they don’t belong in. They’re just not that good at it.
