We often fear what we don't understand. We fear what we have never experienced before. A common fear nearly all of us struggle with is the fear of death. No one ever comes back from the grave to tell us about their death experience so it remains a great mystery.

Perhaps there is no other time in our lives when our guardian angels are more active or needed than at the moment of our earthly demise. death, the event we always cloak in a shroud of mystery, and fear, eventually comes to all of us. Hiding from it, never speaking about it, or being ignorant of it, does not help us at all.

Many people don't look at it this way, but by planning your own funeral, you may improve how people think of you after you died. Planning your own funeral is an incredibly selfless thing to do. You are saving your family a lot of additional grief, and that is something your family will always remember about you. They will remember just how considerate you were in making sure to make these difficult decisions for them.

Suits and dresses are the preferred attire. You are going to a funeral to pay your respects to the family and the deceased, so taking the time to dress up and follow proper funeral etiquette is a way that you can outwardly show the family what their loved one meant to you. For men, a suit and tie are great and women can either wear a black dress or skirt or a pantsuit.

Offers of help. While food is almost always appreciated (see above), sometimes other offers of assistance are needed. Maybe you can provide some hours of childcare, walk a dog, buy a carload of groceries or clean a house. The best thing to do is ask what is needed - then provide.

Maney of us must look at this subject seriously. and soon. Because we are walking around with way too much DEATH in our life and eventually; one day; one hour DEATH is going to win the battle! Do not be one of those who are intelligent enough to recognize the DEATH in their life but don't have the will power to do anything about it. Start appreciating the value of LIFE and begin the process of choosing LIFE over DEATH with every decision.
