Leaving home was the hardest part. I had to say goodbye to you, my best friend, and I didn't know when I would see you again. I am going to miss the heLl Outta you. All the time we spent together, talking about everything and nothing. Your smile, laugh, you bringing me cookies when I was feeling down. I'm going to miss all of it. You were always there for me, and I hope you know how much I appreciate you. You're more than a friend, you're mine my bud. And no matter where you are, I'll always carry you in my heart.

I just wanted to say that you made most of my days these past months. You were always there for me when I needed someone to talk to or just have fun with. We stayed up late talking about random stuff because of which I now know a lot about you, we watched a series almost the same time, and I started loving sunsets and the moon because of you. You made a present for me which I love so much and now he has his best friend the cute penguin. You have such an amazing personality and a great sense of humor. You showed me very cool stuff like the text thingy, you know the one which can pew pew, wrap and add heart things to texts. I felt so cool knowing that. And thankwee for that. You're awesome.

You mean to me so much that I can't imagine a day without you. You are one of the reason I wake up every morning and the last thing I think about before I fall asleep. But now you're gone and I don't know how to cope. Every time I look outside I remember you and I feel down. The sky is gray, the trees are bare, the birds are silent. Everything reminds me of you. I couldn't even sleep last night, I thought about everything, how I could've been a better person to you, everything I wish I did when you were here and I regret that very much. I tried to distract myself with some shows, even my comfort show but nothing helped. You know that feeling when you finish a show you've been watching for months straight and you feel empty and lost? That's how I feel now, but a thousand times worse. I have no idea what to do, how to survive without you. All I have are memories of the good times we shared, but they only make me cry. You were my everything, and now you're gone.

One of the best times I had with you was the day of the quiz. It started as a lowkey day until you entered it. You asked me if I could help you prepare for the quiz, and I agreed without hesitation. We went to the lab and studied together for a couple of hours. I had an amazing time "helping you" prepare, which mostly involved me quizzing you and you answering with confidence. You were so smart and funny, and I enjoyed every moment with you. I remember you laughing at a joke I said about one of the questions, and then you laughing at yourself for laughing at that. You had such a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh. I couldn't take my eyes off you.
When you won the quiz, you were looking for me from the stage. You were so happy and proud, and I loved seeing you like that. You waved at me and gestured for me. And sometime after the most amazing thing happened. It was a warm and tight hug. I never said it but I liked it. You made my day that day.
There are like a billion other fun days I'd with you but the letter's gonna be too long. Whenever I remember those marvelous days I feel happy but then after sometime I feel under the weather, missing those days and looking forward to the next ones.

Bad bye.
I hate saying bye. It's such a bad word. It implies that you're leaving someone, and you don't know when or if you'll see them again. Who decided byes were good? They're not. They're painful and awkward and final. I'd rather say see you later, or take care, or anything else. And then you have to deal with the emotions that come with it, the sadness and the regret and the fear. I hate saying bye.
