What are some good Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves to watch with my 11 year old daughter?
The Honor Among Thieves Secret Lair Drop has stunning artwork of the characters as played by Chris Pine (Edgin the Bard), Michelle Rodriguez (Holga the Barbarian) as well as Rege-Jean Pages (Xenk the Paladin), Justice Smith (Simon the Sorcerer), Sophia Lillis (Doric the Druid) and Hugh Grant (Fitzwilliam the Rogue). The cards come with some distinctive features, such as returning double-sided cards with Doric's image in her favorite owlbear appearance on one side. In the briefing to press for the set Sarra Scherb, a Copywriter of Wizards of the Coast, revealed that she DM'd an hour-long session with the directors and actors for the movie, with the exception of Grant who was not present, prior to the beginning of filming. Scherb said that naming Edgin's card"the Larcenous Lutenist was among her top priorities when creating the set. They also noted Smith's enthusiasm for the game that resulted in him memorizing the spells he wanted to cast and preparing his character sheet prior to meeting with Scherb to play the one-shot -- made the creation of Simon, Wild Magic Sorcerer their most-loved part of creating these Secret Lair Drop.


Smith earlier revealed his love for the film while discussing how he integrated ASL into casting spells in The D&D film. "I perform a lot of spellcasting in the film, and I collaborated with a wonderful choreographer make distinct gestures for each spell. Also, I have a little knowledge of sign language, so I try to incorporate it into it," Smith explained. "Whatever Watch Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves says it, I try to include the words in signs into the gestures of the spell. Not for every gesture." The actor explained that part of that decision came from an aversion to magic casting in films that make an actor seemingly gestures with no intention.


Rodriguez was also in the character of the film recently speaking out about the difficulties she faced in losing muscle mass after bulking up to play as a Barbarian. In addition to weight training, Rodriguez also grew out her armpit hair. "I am growing out all my armpit hair. So that's real - it's not stuck on. So I really felt it, and I gained a good 15 pounds of muscles mass," she said. "I'm struggling to find a way to time losing that muscle. I've had to add a new size to my wardrobe."
